Observations of a blown mind

Cress Seeds

I admit it, I am impatient!

Do you remember as a kid at primary school [kindergarten for my American friends] when your teacher gave you and your class mates some seeds to grow? You and your little pals carefully and excitedly listened to the instructions your teacher relayed to you about how to place them on the tissue in the clear plastic cup, and then carefully you added water.

The next day you run in to the classroom and ….. nothing has happened. You repeat this process for the next few days.

Eventually, when you have almost forgotten about it, your teacher points out there’s a shoot or two. Your cress is growing, and yours and your classmates interest is again rekindled! But it takes so long to grow! Unfortunately there isn’t much any of you can do but wait, until eventually you can enjoy the fruits of your labour in a tasty egg and cress sandwich!

Having a Blog and a Facebook page is very similar. You lovingly put it together and invite your friends along to enjoy, gently encouraging them to share the love with their friends and so on. But it takes so long to grow! However, I am hoping you wonderful people who pop by on a regular basis to read my ramblings can help!

First of all, thank you each and everyone of you for popping by and reading and commenting on the articles you enjoy here. It means a great deal to know they are of interest and have helped.

Secondly, please zip over and like the official 100 Uses for Muesli Facebook page. Why? Simply put if you like the articles on the blog then you’ll find many more links and tidbits on the Facebook page [it's a quicker way to share finds with you]. Also it only has 75 likes, which is just depressing. Come on people, let’s make this page go viral [not this viral, but this viral]. A few more would be most pleasing!

Finally, if you like the blog and you like the Facebook page, please, please, please share it! Tell your friends, colleagues, parents, next door neighbours,  cashier at the supermarket etc all about how wonderful and enriched your life has become since you found 100 Uses for Muesli. It may help me to get my book published!!

And then maybe, just maybe, we can meet in person at a signing and you can tell me first hand how you zealously ran around your town and spread the love like mad King George.

I genuinely look forward to it!

So there’s your mission, and I do hope you feel compelled to spread the word; and truly I thank you for your help in making the blog and the Facebook page grow.

Much love – Chris.
